MisterChef - Free Cook and Eat Lessons for Older Men

Pauline McCartney, Home Economist teaches cooking skills Horsham Partnerships for Older People are offering a course of free cook and eat classes for men called “MisterChef”.  The aim is to teach older men, who may do very little home cooking themselves, basic cooking skills.  They will also receive advice on healthy eating, food safety and hopefully have lots of fun too!  This will all take place in a relaxed atmosphere and, after doing some cooking themselves,  they will sit together and enjoy the food they have prepared!

An introductory “taster session” is being held on Wednesday 24 February at 2 Lavinia House, Duke's Square, Denne Road, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1GZ between 4pm - 7.30pm.   At this session further information will be provided about the course.  We have 8 spaces available and those interested will need to book a place.  Transport is available

The classes will start on 18 March and run until May.  They will be on Thursdays between 4pm -7.30pm at Lavinia House. An experienced Home Economist, Pauline McCartney, will be running the sessions.
